Share your news!

This blog is ideal for sharing Bynum Family info that we may need to refer to again -- who's coming to the beach on what day, vacation or other trip schedules, accolades, pictures or news that everyone needs to know. Use it often and no one can ever say again "I didn't know you were doing that..."

Our cottage and beach

Home from Daufuskie-- probably the most relaxing place I've ever been. Sunset Beach is of course still my vacation destination of choice, but Daufuskie Island is a close second. Below is a picture of our cottage (over to the right) and the beach in front of it. Click the picture to see more images.

Beasley's represent BSA!

Tim, Josh and Hunter are having a "great" time at Camp Bowers this week for Boy Scout summer camp. Jake and I visited on Wednesday for Family Night. They are staying in tents and of course it has thunderstormed every day! But, they really are having fun. Ahhh, the great outdoors.

July 4th - Beasley Style!

We had a great 4th of July in Wilmington. So glad Lisa and her friend Rachel could come and visit. We had a pig pickin', bike parade and fireworks. Around 70+ people here for the pig pickin'. The boys ran around all night having water gun fights and electric wheel chair races, just your typical neighborhood party. Oh, and there were sparklers too! Got to have those on the 4th. It was a lot of fun!!

Blog Tips Vol 2 - Save Images

Did you know that you can save pictures from the blog to your own computer? Just as if the picture had been sent to you as an attached file in an email, you can download any picture that has been posted by any blog member.

For PC users, right click on the picture and choose "Save Image As" and then follow the instructions to save to your hard drive.

For Mac users (DAD!), I'm not sure what kind of mouse you have - if you have a one button mouse, I'm told if you select the CTRL key at the same time you click on the image, you'll see the "Save Image As" option. If you have a 3 button mouse, one of those buttons will show you the "Save Image As" option when you click on the image.

Fish Commercial Hits Winterwood Court

Last week we were awakened at 6:30 am with camera crews and actors that were filming a commercial for the Greenville Water Department in our next door neighbors yard. Not sure when the commercial hits the airwaves but thought you might like to see the fish star (not star-fish) and our house in the background........they had a fan they would stick into the tail of hi fish costume every few minutes to keep the poor guy from passing out !

4th of July @ the Beasleys

Had a great weekend at the Beasleys! I hope the Pig Pickin' becomes an annual event - great turn out for the first ever Chowning Place parade too. I think most of the pictures are on Laura's camera, but here's one before the start (Jake is on the far left).

Josh is resting in between the days of the tournament...right. Games were exciting and as usual Josh was a superstar!
It was great to have a resident kindergarten teacher here for a visit....they made 3 books together! Lacrosse and the visit was fun! Laura, pillows are on the way...should be at Tim's office on Monday.
