Autumn Fest - Oct 3
Lesley and I are working hard on this year's fundraiser for A Giving Spirit Foundation (formerly Laura's League) and wanted to make sure you all knew the details. If you recall, Laura Somerville Woodall was my Junior year college roommate and now lives down the street from Lesley. It will be a fun evening and we would love for you to join us if you can. I will make room at Hotel Bynum on Westmoreland if anyone wants to stay the night.
The family-friendly event starts at 5:00 p.m with games and good food. Special Guests, the Blue Dogs, go on stage at 7:00 p.m.

Autumn Fest is the primary fundraiser for A Giving Spirit Foundation. A Giving Spirit was founded in 2008 in order to provide grants that will benefit families of Mothers experiencing adversity in the face of an unforeseen health challenge. The foundation also actively supports research organizations like Project ALS and the ALS Division of the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the hopes of finding a cure for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease).
A Giving Spirit Foundation is guided and inspired by the vision of Laura Somerville Woodall and her family.

Winston-Salem
It was fun spending time in W-S without a major family function. Paige, Temple and I had fun reconnecting. Enjoyed the pool and the yard work!! Look at Dad go off that board! Not bad for an 80 year old!
